What an adventure this night was. After I dropped Kelsey off at the ship I needed to find the train and take it to my friend’s house. I gave her a call and she gave me directions to take the Green line C train and to call her when I got off at her stop. The train was no problem and she lives in a really nice area. I called my friend and she had just fell off a ladder and banged herself up really bad, to the point where she had not moved from the ground for about 10 minutes after the fall. I came to her rescue like a true superhero minus the cape. She turned out to be ok but we iced her knee and put heat on her hamstring the rest of the night. I can’t imagine what would have happened if I was not coming over.
All the excitement worked up an appetite but we needed to order in because walking was not in the picture for the night. We ordered a ton of food from an Indian restaurant called Rani. It was good. We ordered a lamb curry, a chicken dish, dumplings, 3 types of naan, and gobi. It had been a while since I had Indian. It hit the spot. I liked the sauces with all the naan. I could dip naan in sauce all night and be totally happy. Favorite parts of the meal were the chicken, the sauces from the dumplings and the company. Lots of laughs that night.
