I’ve seen my share of Italian cakes and Pompeiian lemons. Maybe that’s why these papers jumped out at me. Call it a reprieve or an intrigue. The beauty of Rossi 1931 Papers are unmatchable. The metallic gold used to rim some of the cakes is an incredible detail. the texture of the lemons and the leaves pushes you to reach in and attempt to grab one. Once these beautiful 20 X 25 sheets are in your possession it’s up to you what you do with them. Framing them is certainly an option for these wall worthy beauties. I prefer to double treat with things like this. Now I just have to find the perfect, deserving gift to be wrapped with such works of art.

Raisin Mother’s Day Card
We love the Good Paper people. Gearing up to treat mom is sometimes one of the trickiest tasks of the year. It has to be good, funny, special, sentimental, not too much BUT just enough. Start out with this Thanks for Raisin Us card and you’re on the right track. Of course you need at least one sibling for it to make sense. After that maybe you go with a north African dinner reservation or a beach vacation for the big gift. There’s a theme her people. Go with it.

Greatest “Pop” Greeting Card
We’re a sucker for a good pun. That peeps was a double pun. We met Witty Gritty, Meredith & Melinda the mother/daughter team behind the designs, a couple weeks ago at the Renegade Craft Fair’s Brooklyn edition. With Father’s Day right around the corner we couldn’t help but serve up this gem to treat your pop to a pop card. There’s a few other awesome options the ladies have on tap for dad’s special day. Plus, they have a catalog for just about any occasion you need a “snail mail” somethin’ somethin’ for the someone.

Pizza Pin
So, we have a thing for pizza. Not only do we love to eat that crispy crust, bubbling cheese and aromatic triple meat topping BUT, we’ll wear it on our lapel. Jen Adrion and Omar Noory make lots of perfect little, delicious items. None more satisfyingly cute than this pizza pin. Their website does tons of explaining on who they are, their Ohio studio details, what they have done (and it’s a lot) and where you can get their stuff. Aside from their creative excellence the seemingly obsessive use of ™ and ® is fantastic. As in their tagline, WE MAKE THINGS™. The line YOU LOVE THINGS™. Or, as in this mantra, These Are Things®. Whether truly trademarked or registered, the inside joke or official-ness is welcomed. Plus, they have cats that are dope based on their Insta.

Family Style Print by Yardsale Press
Bryan Sculthorpe had us locked at last years Renegade with his 10×20 inch “stacked” series. Family Time spoke to us loud and clear. Bryan has some new illustrations this year. Pizza being our favorite. He even branched out into pins this year. Hard to say “no” to all his work but we need more wall space first.
