New Digs Din

Tim and Marisa invited me up to their new place in Harlem on Thursday. I was very excited to see their place because they had recently moved from the tiniest studio in Chelsea, where they lived together for 8 years, into a sprawling 2 bedroom in SoHa. (South Harlem for those not up to date with the NYC realtor dictionary) Not only was their place amazing but they treated me to a killer meal made, get this, in their very own oven. Giddy from the space, at least in my assessment, we all stayed up way past bedtime on a school night enjoying the company and the space.

By the time our 3rd of 9 bottles of wine popped, Tim dropped some salmon sashimi on the table. The butter like texture of the fish was quickly scarfed up by the team. Next was the main event. Tim and Marisa prepared a baked salmon w/toasted sliced almonds, on pesto, tomato and puffed pastry. Delicious and super fresh.
