Independence Day
This weekend was amazing! We hope you feel the same. Besides celebrating America’s independence we did a little liberating of our own and shed our old Forking Tasty look for this fresh one you see today. We thought we’d take this opportunity to point out a few new parts and content additions under the guise of a July 4th footlong dog post.
We’re psyched about the new look and location of Forking Tasty and hope you are too. On the content side we promised a relaunch in June and we missed it by just a few days. Not too bad given the hot dog independence theme we’ve been able to attached this post. Below are a few newly re-launched sections to get you started in re-aquainting yourself with some of the new and old projects, events and videos.
We hope you enjoy. If you do, or don’t, Let us know in the comments or with an email. We love to hear from you guys.
Forked With: Formerly known as P.I.E. With series. 50% of our whole blog is about the people we eat with. This project focuses on them rather than the food. From heads of companies to homeless people, we’ve broke bread with an international mix of people from all walks of life.
Killer Dishes: A new project that focuses on the tastes morsels we get our chompers on. Rather than focus on the entire restaurant and everything we ate we thought it more interesting to get deeper into just the stuff that moves us the most.
Supper Club: Our suppers are an ever-changing experiment in creativity, both culinarily and experientially. Some take place on a secret 60-foot deck under the glow of a huge movie screen. Other evenings pop-up in a commandeered restaurant for just one night. No matter where it pops up we always have one constant, bring back the lost practice of dinnertime.
City Guides: A mini-travel itinerary focused around food and augmented with hotels, shops and coolness. Think “NYTimes 36 hours in” or “Tony Bourdain’s Layover” style.
‘WichHunting: My bros and I hunting down the best sandwiches in the country.
