Boston Eats
My post yesterday went on a long explanation of one particular meal I had while up in Boston last week. I felt the need to share some of the other delicious dishes I consumed while in Beantown for 36 hours. Above is, Clam Chowder at the Legal Seafood Kitchen in Logan Airport. I washed that down with a cold Sam Adams.
Below was all ordered from http://www.sweetbasilneedham.com/ in Needham, MA. I stayed with my friend Meri and Chris and their two amazing boys (Cam and Ben). They love this place and introduced me to the food last time I visited. Meri called me late on Thursday to discuss dinner and the both of us had the same thing in mind. Take out from Sweet Basil!
We went over board but here is the carnage.
Gulf shrimp scampi, sautéed shrimp with garlic, tomatoes and white wine over linguine
Steamed mussels in a garlic and wine broth with tomatoes, Olive Oil and crostini
Bolognese with beef, sausage, and mushrooms over papardelle pasta.

Rosemary chicken with crispy pancetta, tomatoes and asparagus, in a creamy parmesan cream sauce tossed with ziti
Warmed goat cheese salad with roasted beets
