When someone tells you they are taking you to the outskirts of town to a parking lot where great food is made in an old airstream trailer, YOU JUST GO. My friend Brad did just this on my recent trip to Austin. As the story goes, two friends wanted to start making crepes and well…the vid will explain it all.

Yep, in South Congress. 400 Josephine Street. They are one block behind Romeo’s restaurant just off Barton Springs Road.

Guess I know where I’m heading back to for lunch this weekend. Who doesn’t need more flippin’ happiness, after all?
Between the crepes, the SRV soundtrack, and the footage from the backseat of Audrey the Saab, I’m going to vote for this as the best Forking Tasty video ever. “I’m Flipping Happy” gets my Oscar vote.
Kim, their schedule and contact details are at: http://www.fliphappycrepes.blogspot.com/. It’s well worth the trip when you’re in Austin, especially when the weather’s right for outdoor seating.

Good old Audrey. Without her we wouldn’t have been able to lay eyes on this hidden gem. Thanks for the SRV call out. I thought it fit very well myself. Say hi to Nessa if you see her this weekend for me.

Wow, that’s really interesting! I wonder how this differs from what I have been learning at my dojo.
