Robert & Louise • Paris
Ok it’s official. I love blood sausage. At first I reserved myself to only raving about Agentina’s version of this texture incongruent sausage staple BUT in past years I added Spain’s version back on the list and now the French have my heart and stomach. The boudin noir saucisson at Robert and Louise, a pretty standard yet tasty steak bistro, is so amazing that Tony got one for dessert. That’s right, dessert. The open fireplace where they grill the meat and the sausage give a true flame tickled taste to the steaks and sausage alike. We suggest ordering two for the table right off the bat. What you do for dessert is up to you but we think you’ll have the same contemplation we did. Who ever said meat for dessert is wrong?
