Lock yourself on Governor’s Island with unlimited Rosé and a line-up of indie bands I’ve never even heard of. Although that’s self admitting I need to up my music game, I’m sure Claptone, Miami Horror, Tortured Soul, Tube & Berger and Slow Hands means something strong for a bunch of you reading this. Truth be told, I’m going for the actual picnic. Preset baskets at various price points provide everything you need for a leisurely poke around the newly renovated island. Find your corner of the Manhattan annex paradise and spread out. With a name like Pinknic, it’s virtually mandatory yet I’m expecting a few drag queens on stilts. Am I wrong?
