Jay and I needed a bite to eat before going to see G.I. Joe at the theater. G.I. Joe was our all time favorite childhood toys as kids and we had to see this movie together. We chose a restaurant /pub close to the theater called the Waterfront Ale House. It is one of those places I go to often because I enjoy the food and their specials. It’s not a place I would find myself sitting at the bar and having a pint with a bunch of buddies. Although, they do have a nice full bar and a large number of unique beers.

It is so funny how their are 12 million people in New Your City and you can still bump in to people you know in random places. For such a huge city it can really be small sometimes. I was out to dinner at Mad For Chicken with friends and who just happens to be sitting at the table next to mine. My friend Sunny who I haven’t seen in months. We decided to meet up for a bite and some drinks later on the following week…

My favorite place to eat sushi in Manhattan just happens to be across the street from my apartment. Iron sushi is a staple in my book when it comes to eating in New York. First off, there is Denise, who will great you when you come in but if your lucky you may be singing his own form of karaoke with you at dinner. You will have to go and find out what I mean.

I have lived in the same apartment in Manhattan for about 9 years and I have always wanted to go to this Indian restaurant called Vatan down the block from me. When you go you have to take off your sneakers to eat at the table, which is different and fun.
