Forking Tasty – Philippe’s, San Diego from Anthony Anello on Vimeo.
It has been a while since I have had some good italian food. When we port in San Diego there is an information booth across the street and I went in to get a map to Little Italy and asked for some recommendations. I really needed a Chicken Parm sandwich in my life, you know what I’m talking about. The lady at the front desk recommended Philippe’s. Yes, it is the touristy attraction but this place has been around since the 50′s. Little Italy is on India St and you can find Philippe’s at:

I also had my bosses along for the trip. Brian and Sean were making the trek from San Fran to Miami for their first Womma event. Because of this, I wanted to make sure they had an educational and fun experience. Naturally, I turned to my beautiful, foul-mouthed, food loving friend May for a recommendation. Why May? Because, she had been raving about a certain restaurant down there for months. May doesn’t live in South Beach but is there enough to know what’s what. So I took her advice…
