After a great day in Otaru Japan with friends we stopped in at Kita-no Ice Cream. This was not ordinary Ice Cream shop. First we had to go down an ally, then around the back to a small little shop that looked like a broken down house. The video explains it all.

The cookie mine of chocolate

Have you had these cookies at General Greene. I am not even going to really get into it. Go there and get them! They come warm, each bite has an eruption of melted chocolate chips in it and when your done they also have this ridiculous homemade ice cream to wash it down with. My choice is definitely the salted carmel

Originally I made this without fruit for my Dad’s birthday. This time I added frozen strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. Killer.
