I will be spending the next couple months in Alaska and plan on covering restaurants all around Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and Vancouver. First stop in Alaska was Juneau. Juneau is a small town, much like all towns in Alaska. Right at the port there is a tram that takes you up Mount Roberts. There are a few trails to hike up there along with a restaurant. I am down in South Carolina to visit my girlfriend Kelsey. I have never been down in the Carolina’s before. I like it down here. It’s quiet, about 15 – 20 degrees warmer than New York, and there is a lot of great southern foods for me to try. There was a group of us going out in Germany wanting to do something that was normal. Living on a ship we never get to go do something normal, like go to a movie. We decided to go bowling in Germany. We had until 10:30 to get back to the ship so we decided to get a bite to eat before bowling. We stopped at a few places and somehow ended up at an Italian restaurant. I was definitely not the decision maker because when in Germany I want beer and bratwurst. I would have been happy with something on the side of the road.
