I know, not quite the most direct route to the north shore of LI, but it had to be done. Last week I spent some time in Austin at my first SXSW conference. Although it was filled with networking, film, dev geeks and some amazing parties, I am going to focus on the BBQ in this post. Stopped into Fette Sau BBQ tonight with Urbanos for a quick hit of BBQ. I finally convinced the distracted, slow, apathetic hipster to put some pork ribs, sausage, wet brisket and baked beans on my tray. He acted as if I pulled him off the street and asked him to get behind the counter, put on an apron and help serve me. I get it. A lot of you fools have other things on your mind. Do me a favor.
