Gordita party at La Superior with Preethi Swamy. Having never actually had La Superior’s gorditas I was already excited. To share this meal with a beautiful, smart and funny woman who loves food even more than I do, tripled that excitement. Preethi is a long time neighbor of Ant’s who has brought a lot of fun into the Sixty Deuce sitcom over the years. Between law school and a strict yoga schedule its amazing to me she finds the time to eat so much, but she does. (Find the time and eat a LOT, that is). Sharing a meal with her is always enlightening because she is sharp as a whip and full of knowledge. She once told me that her favorite possession is her knowledge because that is the one thing no one can ever take from her. It’s statements like that which compel me to share meals with her more often. Thanks for introducing me to the gorditas Preethi. Looking forward to getting kicked more knowledge and chomping more grub soon.

GORDITAS-chorizo with requeson cheese mixed with cilantro. Served with lettuce and mexican cream
FLAUTAS DE POLLO-potatoes with cheese topped with romaine and salsa)
ALAMBRE-Chihuahua cheese served with corn tortillas)
QUESADILLA-Papa con chorizo
And a lime and a watermelon Aqua Fresca
