I have just returned to the states and I was a little groggy from all the travel. All I wanted was a sandwich and there are many places I could go to get a great sandwich but I am known to make may own sandwiches. I love my sandwiches and they are usually better than most I buy.
I headed to my local grocery store and walked around the meat section. Of all the meats I saw the thin sliced pork chops were calling my name and then it came to me, pork and provolone sandwich would be perfect. It’s quick to cook and delicious. Here is how it went down:
Four thin sliced pork chops salt and peppered and cooked in Sesame Ginger dressing. In the same pan cook some onions. Just before there done cooking put some provolone on the pork to melt. The bread (Wheat) needs to be gutted so it is a little like a bowel at the top. Add in shredded lettuce, cabbage and mayo and you have an outrageous sandwich. I surprise myself sometimes when I make up a sandwich on the fly.
