Good Pizza-San Francisco

I stayed a second time at the Good Hotel, a small boutique hotel in San Francisco’s SOMA neighborhood. This time I tried out the pizza place in the lobby. Good Pizza makes a thin crust Napolitano style pizza. Toppings run the gamut from traditional pepperoni to the Scandinavian bacon and potato to the Californian walnut and apple.

I ordered two small pies for sampling purpose. First this delicious mushroom-onion.

And below is the apple-walnut.

Although the apple-walnut was delicious the mushroom-onion was a knock-out-of-the-park home run. Still not to be compared to NY pizza, it was extremely fresh both in the crust and the toppings. I found myself savoring each bite, and attempting to avoid the inevitable “last piece”. Washing it all down with a delicious red wine from the tap made the experience complete. If you are looking for a quick hit in SF I defiantly recommend you go for some good.
