Our second dinner on the deck was a ton of fun. Sorry it took a while to get this post up. We want to, again, thank all our guests for making the evening super special. This Reel Tasty Brooklyn dinner featured Grace Kelly and Jimmy Stewart in Rear Window paired with some wonderful dishes…

Definitely day two now. Ant and I headed for an ancient fort and then tracked down some Georgian food. The day ended with a harrowing trip back to the ship. The lack of English and the introduction of a new port has confused the tourist/taxi driver communication and almost kept us in St. Pete indefinitely. We made it back in time for “ALL ABOARD” with empty pockets but with full bellies. (See full post for pics)

A bloody church, an impromptu Russian girl party and a Hookah kept Tony, Kelsey and I going when our bodies and minds were conflicted on exactly what time it was. Russia kept us on our toes as we continued to explore the in’s and out’s of St. Petersburg.

As you all know I am always looking for a good meal. Well I hit one in Puerto Rico back in April. The restaurant Toro Salao is delicious with outside seating and when in Puerto Rico, you want to be outside and enjoy the warm air. Our ship does not leave until 11pm..

Back in early march I was in the Caribbean and each week we would port in Puerto Rico. While working, a local Puerto Rican women was in one of my classes and on the cruise I picked her brain about all the restaurants she recommends being that she was a local. One of the places she mentioned is Mojitos in old San Juan. Friends from the ship recommend a place called Café Puerto Rico. I have been to Café Puerto Rico and it’s great. The 2 restaurants are very similar so I have to see which is the better, of course. Both places I ordered a conch mofongo and chorizo in wine sauce.
And the winner is…..

With little English spoken and the Russian mafia with there hands in everything, Kelsey, Anthony and I ventured out to find the local market, eat some wild, wild, game and explore the ancient architecture of the czars. With 2 days to explore, I had to break Russia up into 3 parts. Part one, above, is most of day one. But, with almost 24 hours of daylight it was hard to decide when day one ended and day two started.

I was on my own in Estonia. Anthony had work on the ship to attend to. It was a bit rainy but that didn’t deter me from finding a giant pancake and the best ‘lil Estonian buffet in town. Music by Toe Tag. My exploration took me into a music shop where I found some local Hip-Hop.

Finding an elusive meal that we both had back in 2006 iced the cake. This small sea town is mostly a tourist destination but Anthony and I did our best to poke around and explore some of the nooks and crannies discovering some hidden gems. Music by Daft Punk. It was the only German beats in my iTunes. (Photo slideshow in full post)

The last 10 days I have been on this ship with Anthony. I learned all about life on the Eurodam and what he means by “waking up in a new country everyday”. Although the ship has it’s share of delicious food and wonderful drinks, I am going to keep this post short leaving the reviews to Anthony. Look for those in future updates. But…

I started my trip to Europe this morning. Well…really it was 2 mornings ago, I just have not slept yet. I flew out of JFK to London where I had an 11 hour layover before continuing on to Copenhagen. I arrived in London Heathrow Airport at 6am and flew through customs. I claimed my bag, checked in for my next flight and was ready to go back through security in under an hour. Rare for Heathrow but I am not complaining. On the non-complaining tip, I decided to make the best of my time and start the trip out right with a Full English Breakfast…
